I grew up in a family where manual labor and a taste for beauty and goodness were part of everyday life: my father was a baker and my mother a seamstress. From an early age, I learned that quality, rigor, and passion are not options, but a way of life.

At 19, I entered the world of catering. Ice cream parlors, kitchens, renowned Italian establishments... those years forged in me a demanding attitude and a deep respect for products and those who work with them. Gastronomy is not just a job for me, it is a language, a means of sharing, bringing people together, and passing on knowledge.

With Amuri e Sapuri, I wanted to create a simple, sincere, and authentic grocery store entirely dedicated to Sicily. Every product in the store has been carefully selected by me, sourced directly from 100% Sicilian producers chosen for their reliability, passion, and understanding of my concept.

Here, friendliness is essential. I love welcoming people, advising them, offering them tastings, and chatting with them. Seeing customers discover a new flavor, recognize a scent, or taste something for the first time is a real joy for me. From the moment we opened on Saturday, December 13, this energy came naturally.

I am demanding with my producers, but always attentive to my customers. My goal is simple: for everyone who enters Amuri e Sapuri to feel the love and passion I have for Sicilian cuisine. An unpretentious grocery store, but with only exceptional products.
